Flat-Stock Molding
This simple piece of flat-stock molding is often sold under the name “lattis molding.” At least that’s what they call it at Lowes Home Improvement.
The only reason I bought this piece is because I only needed enough to use as a scriber on our kitchen double porch door. And I needed (wanted) it that day.
Otherwise you are much better off buying a full sheet of MDF-100.
How Much Will I Save by Using MDF Board Instead?
If you ripped this same piece of molding from a full sheet of 1/4″ thick mdf board (MDF-100) it would cost just $.09/lf instead of $0.77/lf.
That’s a lot of money saved by using mdf!
