When wallpaper, stencils, cascading silk vines and other decorating tricks no longer satisfy your quest for the ideal kitchen, then try installing a simple set of moldings and a fresh coat of paint.
That’s what we did here. Two shades of blue on the wall and simple but elegant white moldings were all this kitchen needed.
Of the many rooms I’ve decorated with moldings, this is one of my favorites.
This crown molding, CROWN MOLDING-106, is made of three pieces of mdf molding that I bought at Lowes.
This style crown is found in both Craftsman and Victorian style homes.
The door trim in the lower left of the above picture is a pure Craftsman style and is also made from two simple and inexpensive pieces of molding.
The wall paint is Benjamin Moore’s Regal product, and the finish is matte.
The trim paint is Benjamin Moore’s Satin Impervo product, the finish is satin, and the color is called White Dove.

Please expound upon the creation of the Craftsman style door trim found in the photo attached to this segment. We are preparing to build a Tidewater style house and feel Craftsman style woodwork, i.e., baseboard, door trim and window trim, etc. would be appropriate for it. Comments.
Thank you.
